Job summary

C&H Recruitment seeks MC drivers for Newcastle-area work with day and night rosters. Role includes transporting DG and explosives in the Hunter Valley, operating tankers and multi-trailer combinations, and side/end tipping.

Must have a Road Ranger gearbox experience and a valid MC licence; DG licence is required. Overnight sleep in truck is expected with a nightly allowance of $56.28. Rotating 6 on/6 off shifts apply.

Qualifications

• MC Licence with 2 years experience.
• Dangerous Goods Licence required.
• SSAN clearance preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Transporting ammonium nitrates & emulsions, explosives and other DG to locations in the Hunter Valley region.
• Side-tipping and End tipping experience.
• Operating tankers, doubles and triples combinations.

Newcastle based MC Drivers are needed for local work. This will consist of days and nights along with multiple types of haulage available.

• $112,986.72 inclusive to superannuation.

Job Details

• Transporting ammonium nitrates & emulsions, explosives and other DG to various locations in the Hunter Valley region
• Side-tipping and End tipping experience
• Operating tankers, doubles and triples combinations
• Must with experience driving a Road Ranger gearbox
• Roster - 6 on / 6 off - Rotating days and nights
• Must be willing to sleep in truck - Overnight allowance $56.28 p/d

What is Required?

• MC Licence- 2 years experience
• Experience with multi combination road trains- with Road Ranger gearboxes.
• Dangerous Goods Licence - Required
• SSAN clearance - Preferred but not essential
• Ability to work well in a team
