Job summary

Synergie Australia is seeking an experienced MC Driver for our transport client located in Singleton. The role is an ongoing night shift with start times around 6pm and shifts up to 6-8 hours, offering a competitive hourly rate.

You will palletise and secure loads, strap and restrain freight, perform load restraints, and shuttle between Singleton and Newcastle. A valid MC licence, medical including drug and alcohol test, and a strong team ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid MC licence is required.
• Medical including drug and alcohol screening.
• Strong understanding of load restraint practices.
• Experience with palletising and strapping.
• Road Ranger gearbox experience is desirable.
• Reliable, punctual and team‑focused.

The important parts:

• Ongoing night shift
• Start times between 6pm – up to 6-8 hour shifts
• Competitive pay rate of $55 $59 per hour – night shift rate
• Temp to perm opportunity for the right

What you will be required to do:

• Palletising and securing loads
• Strapping and ensuring freight is safely secured
• Understanding and applying load restraint requirements
• General transport and delivery duties
• Shuttling trailers between Singleton and Newcastle, ensuring safe and timely transportation.
• Maintaining safety and compliance at all times

To be successful in the role you will:

• Valid MC licence
• Pass a medical including a drug and alcohol
• Strong understanding of load restraint practices
• Experience with palletising and strapping
• Ability to drive a Road Ranger gearbox (highly desirable)
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic
• Positive attitude and team-focused mindset
