Job summary

Southern Rural Water is seeking a Multi Skilled Storage Operator to join our Headworks team in the East. You will perform hands-on maintenance, operate mechanical equipment and support the Dam Safety Program with inspections and task execution.

You will join a collaborative team, work occasional weekends, and participate in standby duties outside normal hours, with training provided in dam safety and flood routing to build technical proficiency.

• Experience operating and maintaining mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance tasks for gated and fixed crest structures.
• Maintain safe operation and management of SRW headworks structures.
• Undertake visual inspections and monitoring of dam assets.
• Contribute to incident management and emergency response, including flood routing.
• Participate in standby duties and after-hours support.
