Job summary

Norco Co-operative Limited is seeking a Production Operator for our busy milk processing facility in Labrador on the Gold Coast. This casual role covers day, afternoon, night and weekend shifts, and requires previous machine-operating experience within a food manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Sound understanding of work place health and safety and the ability to work in a safe manner
• Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment highly desirable
• Understanding of food manufacturing processes and hygiene requirements
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and advanced problem solving skills
• The ability to work in a team environment
• Willingness to work shift work and rotating rosters
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Demonstrated punctuality and reliability
• Ability to accurately complete paperwork with good attention to detail
• Sound communication, literacy and numeracy skills and computer skills
• Understanding and commitment to continuous improvement activities
