Job summary

Bodalla Dairy Cheese Factory is seeking a Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing across dairy lines, reporting to the owners. You will plan production schedules, manage staff and coordinate materials to deliver safe, consistent products.

Key focus areas include food safety (HACCP), quality control, equipment maintenance and continuous improvement, with strong leadership to develop a small production team on the South Coast of New South Wales.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing production within a dairy or food manufacturing environment.
• Strong organisational and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to balance production schedules with stock and demand.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily and weekly production schedules for multiple dairy lines.
• Lead and supervise factory staff, allocating duties and managing rosters.
• Maintain HACCP-based food safety procedures and quality standards.
• Coordinate maintenance, cleaning and equipment upkeep to minimise downtime.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives across the factory.
