Job summary

ATCO Energy Systems in Australia is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to monitor, analyse and respond to security events across IT and OT environments. You will work with technology teams to strengthen ATCO's security posture and support detection, investigation and response to threats.

This on-call role offers opportunities to maturate cyber security capabilities, including vulnerability management, incident response, and collaboration with risk and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Cybersecurity or related field.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity, including SOC or IR.
• Knowledge of AESCSF, NIST CSF, Essential Eight, ASD ACSC, ITIL.
• Experience in incident detection, investigation, response, and risk assessment.
• Experience with Endpoint Protection, IAM, PAM, IGA and vulnerability platforms.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyse, and respond to security events and incidents.
• Collaborate with IT and OT teams to improve security posture.
• Conduct threat hunting and use threat intel to mitigate risks.
• Assist with vulnerability management and root-cause analysis.
• Document incidents and support audits and compliance.
