Job summary

Grampians Health is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to support secure commissioning of technology during the Ballarat Base Hospital Redevelopment. You will collaborate with Digital Health and BBHR teams to determine cybersecurity requirements and provide expert recommendations.

The role focuses on identifying security gaps, leading risk assessments, and improving controls, governance, and policies across redeployment and digital transformation projects for Grampians Health.

Qualifications

• Tertiary degree in information technology, computer science or computer systems engineering.
• Relevant industry certifications such as MCSE, MCITP:EA, CEH, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CASP+, etc.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience

Responsibilities

• Conduct cybersecurity assessments of proposed and existing technology solutions, including review of system architecture and design docs, to identify security risks and gaps.
• Lead and coordinate cybersecurity risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and reporting activities across redevelopment and digital transformation projects.
• Contribute to design, enhancement, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity controls, policies, standards and procedures to strengthen security governance.
• Assess existing technologies and infrastructure to identify security uplift requirements and recommend improvements to meet current and future cybersecurity standards.
• Support integration of cybersecurity considerations throughout the project lifecycle from planning to implementation.
• Promote cybersecurity awareness and engage stakeholders to support secure technology outcomes across the organisation.
