Job summary

The Victorian Department of Health is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to lead security uplift across the health sector, focusing on procurement strategies to replace the Statewide Security Operations Centre. The role requires strong business analysis, cloud security expertise, and advanced certifications.

You will shape security requirements, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure procurement delivers robust protection for the Victorian health system.

Qualifications

• Experience defining requirements for technical cyber security procurements.
• Understanding of cloud service platforms security, incl. Azure Cloud Service Security and Microsoft Cloud SaaS Platform.
• Post-graduate certification in cyber security or ICT is mandatory.
• Desirable infrastructure or network architecture certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, MCSA).

Responsibilities

• Support cybersecurity uplift for the Victorian Health Sector and procurement strategies.
• Drive security standards and compliance through procurement processes and partner coordination.
