Job summary

The Cyber Security and Digital Resilience Division of the Victorian Government seeks a proactive Cyber Support Officer in Melbourne. You will provide essential coordination and business support to the Capability and Risk Branch, helping to plan, govern, monitor performance and engage with stakeholders across departments and agencies.

You will coordinate meetings, maintain records and documentation, support reporting processes, and contribute to governance and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating governance and reporting within a government or large organisation.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent written communication and documentation skills.
• High attention to detail and sound judgement in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to build productive working relationships with stakeholders across departments.
• Awareness of governance, risk, and assurance concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide coordination and administrative support across planning, governance, reporting, risk and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Coordinate meetings, workshops and stakeholder engagement activities, including scheduling, agendas, papers, minutes and action tracking.
• Maintain records, registers, documentation and information repositories to support accountability and effective information management.
• Support the preparation, quality assurance and distribution of reports, briefs, presentations, governance papers and other business documentation.
• Support engagement and coordination activities involving Victorian Government departments, agencies and other stakeholders.
• Identify and escalate issues, risks and dependencies in a timely manner and contribute to practical solutions.
• Produce high-quality written communications and documentation that support informed decision-making.
• Other duties as directed that are consistent with a position of this grade and skills requirement.
