Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and manage security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection).
• Monitor and analyze network traffic, logs, and alerts to detect and mitigate threats.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk assessments to identify weaknesses and recommend improvements.
• Respond to and investigate security incidents with proper documentation and escalation.
• Collaborate with IT, development, and operations to build secure systems and networks.
• Stay updated on cybersecurity trends, threat intelligence, and attack techniques.
• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.

Provide training and support to internal teams on security best practices and risk management. Assist in the development and implementation of disaster recovery and incident response plans. Support audits and compliance efforts (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, NIST, ISO 27001).
