Job summary

Lindian Resources is seeking a Cyber Security Lead to join our Technology team during an exciting growth phase. This Perth-based role blends strategic leadership with hands-on security delivery across IT and operational technology, supporting a global rare earths business.

Reporting to the Head of Technology, you will develop security strategy, lead the SOC, risk assessments, incident response and security architecture, while partnering with Finance, Operations and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, IT, CS or related discipline.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC or equivalent.
• Experience with security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cybersecurity strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Design and implement security architecture for IT/OT systems including network segmentation.
• Conduct hands-on security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.
• Establish security standards, policies, and procedures for systems and data protection.
• Lead evaluation and selection of security tools and technologies.
• Monitor emerging threats and ensure systems remain current with security patches.
• Establish and manage 24/7 security monitoring and alerting systems.
• Develop and maintain incident response procedures and playbooks.
• Lead hands-on investigation of security incidents and breaches.
• Oversee security operations center (SOC) activities.
