Job summary

Perth Airport is seeking a Technology Security Engineer to bolster cyber security across our technology environment. You will monitor threats, manage security platforms, coordinate patching, and lead incident responses in a dynamic, 24/7 operation with a strong emphasis on compliance and risk management.

The role requires solid experience in enterprise security technologies, knowledge of NIST/ISO 27001, and a collaborative, results-driven mindset to support responsible AI use and security

Qualifications

• Experience in systems administration or cyber security in enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks and standards.
• Experience with SIEM, SCCM, MS 365 security tools, vulnerability management and malware protection.
• Understanding of authentication technologies (AD, PKI, MFA) and networking basics.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the organisation’s cyber security posture and respond to alerts, threats and vulnerabilities.
• Manage security platforms including SIEM, endpoint security, email security, PAM and logging tools.
• Identify, test, package and coordinate deployment of security patches across diverse environments.
• Lead investigation and response to cyber security incidents with post incident analysis.
• Produce accurate reporting on cyber security performance, risks and compliance activities.
• Coordinate security audits, penetration testing and ongoing risk management.
