Maitland City Council is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to protect Council's systems and data from threats. You will monitor alerts across platforms, support incident response, & assess vulnerabilities while helping implement improved security controls.

You will contribute to audits, documentation and incident response planning, promoting a cyber security culture through staff education and phishing simulations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security or related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts across multiple platforms.
• Support incident response and recovery.
• Undertake vulnerability and risk assessments.
• Assist with implementation and improvement of security controls.
• Contribute to security audits and technical documentation.
• Participate in incident response planning.
• Promote cyber security awareness through staff education and phishing simulations.
