Credit Union SA is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to protect member trust within a regulated financial services environment. The role offers broad exposure to governance, awareness, and resilience activities, working with a Senior Cyber Analyst to grow into senior responsibilities.

You will lead security awareness initiatives, conduct risk assessments, and support the implementation and optimisation of security controls across the organisation.

Qualifikationen

• Experience developing or contributing to security awareness and phishing simulations.
• Strong understanding of cyber threats, attack vectors and vulnerabilities.
• Experience contributing to cyber security risk assessments and control assurance.
• Knowledge of NIST CSF and the Essential 8.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft security ecosystem (Defender, Purview, Entra ID) and willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to spot patterns in security data.
• Strong stakeholder management; ability to work independently in a regulated environment.

Aufgaben

• Lead the people-first security awareness program and phishing simulations across staff.
• Assist in monitoring, investigation and response to security events and resilience activities.
• Support vulnerability management program with remediation tracking and reporting.
• Conduct control testing to meet CPS 234 obligations with support from Senior Analyst.
• Run supplier security reviews and third-party risk assessments per APRA CPS 234.
