Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a Cyber Technical Specialist - Readiness to support cyber readiness and resilience across our organisation. You’ll be hands-on with exercises, threat-informed planning, and data collection for reporting, strengthening critical infrastructure security.

You’ll work with cyber tools and OSINT platforms to monitor threat intelligence and contribute to dashboards and continuous improvement. This is a hybrid role with NV1 clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Be hands-on across cyber readiness and resilience activities, supporting cyber exercises, vulnerability uplift coordination, threat-informed readiness preparation, and data collection for reporting.
• Maintain playbooks, procedures, and registers, and integrate threat intelligence into readiness planning to strengthen organisational preparedness.
• Work directly with cyber tools and OSINT aggregation platforms to monitor, analyse, and correlate open-source threat intelligence from security advisories, forums, and public data sources.
• Contribute to readiness metrics, dashboards, and continuous improvement initiatives, delivering visible and practical outcomes across a hybrid working model.
