Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking an experienced cyber security professional to lead the ongoing management, optimisation and support of its cyber security capabilities. You will ensure critical platforms remain secure, resilient and operationally effective, while working across Defender, Sentinel, EDR/XDR, CNAPP, DLP and cloud security.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cyber security engineering and operations within government or financial services.
• Strong engineering mindset and ability to engage senior stakeholders and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the ongoing management, optimisation and support of the organisation's cyber security capabilities to keep platforms secure, resilient and operationally effective.
• Monitor platform health, assess emerging threats, and drive continuous improvements to strengthen cyber resilience.
• Represent Cyber Engineering across strategic initiatives and partner with stakeholders and vendors to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
• Contribute to the strategic roadmap for cyber platforms and capabilities.
