Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst on a temporary fixed-term full-time basis, based in Macquarie Park, NSW. You will support cyber defence, risk and resilience activities, analyse security alerts, and work with a range of security tools to monitor and improve the organisation’s cyber security posture.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to support cyber defence, risk and resilience activities.
• Experience analysing security alerts and investigating risks.
• Experience with cyber security tools and platforms.
• Ability to create dashboards and reports while managing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support cyber defence, risk, and resilience activities across security operations, threat intelligence, and incident response.
• Investigate security events, analyse data and trends, and help identify and mitigate cyber security risks.
• Monitor and assess cyber security controls, escalate issues, and support continuous service improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to promote security best practices and strengthen the organisation’s cyber security posture.
