Charter Hall is seeking a Cyber Defence & Response Analyst to transform security signals into actionable insights and strengthen cyber resilience across people, systems, data and AI.

You will work with security partners and Technology Operations to investigate, contain and respond to threats from phishing to data exfiltration, using threat intelligence and automation to improve detection and remediation.

Qualifications

• :Bachelor’s degree in IT, cybersecurity, computer science or related discipline is highly desirable.
• :Approximately three to five years’ experience in a SOC, incident response or broad in-house cybersecurity role.
• :Experience correlating signals across SIEM and EDR/XDR platforms; SOAR experience is desirable.

• Turn complex security signals into clear, actionable insights for risk decisions.
• Strengthen visibility across AI and data and monitor interactions with sensitive information.
• Investigate, contain and respond to threats on the front line with security partners.
• Use threat intelligence, automation and AI to improve detection and remediation.
