Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Cyber Security SME to assist the development of the cyber security management plan, cyber security strategy and related documents that include accreditation, certification path, cyber architecture, security risk assessments and defence security compliance.

The role requires identifying cyber security requirements across defence environments, coordinating with stakeholders such as Defence, ASD and industry, and contributing to accreditation activities to ensure secure

The Cyber Security SME resource will assist development of the cyber security management Plan, Cyber Security strategy and associated documents that includes accreditation, assurance certification path, cyber architecture, security risk assessments, supporting Combined Pass approval activities. The Cyber SME will provide specialist advice across cyber security governance, system security engineering, cyber accreditation, information security, secure-by-design implementation and Defence security compliance requirements.

Role

• Identify cyber security requirements applicable to the capability solution and supporting systems.
• Collect and analyse cyber security requirements, policies, standards and architecture guidance
• Support cyber security activities with key Defence, DDG, cyber assurance, ASD, LNIC, Industry, OEM and FMS stakeholders.
• Assess capability designs, architectures and interfaces against Defence cyber security requirements and security controls.
• Support development of FPS requirements for Cyber Security for the project.
• Develop and maintain Cyber Certification and Accreditation Plans supporting capability approval activities.
• Conduct comparative assessments of cyber security solutions considering security effectiveness, technical maturity, integration complexity, supportability and future growth potential.
• Conduct cyber risk and opportunity analysis to identify vulnerabilities, threats, security risks and opportunities for capability enhancement.
• Assess cyber security implications associated with tactical data links, SATCOM, Battle Management Systems, command and control systems and Defence enterprise network connectivity.
• Support development of security architecture products, accreditation evidence and cyber assurance artefacts.
• Assess cyber security requirements across Joint, Coalition and Defence enterprise environments to ensure secure interoperability.
• Identify cyber security risks and recommend mitigation strategies to support capability effectiveness, accreditation and operational acceptance.
• Support development of engineering evidence, security assessments and recommendations required for Combined Pass activities and future accreditation activities.

Mandatory requirements

• Minimum NV1 clearance with ability to obtain NV2. (NV2 Clearance preferred).
• Must be able to work from Brindabella Business Park 5 days per week, CBR location preferred.
• Relevant experience undertaking role responsibilities.
• Minimum 6 years' experience, preferably within Defence.
• Experience in complex acquisition projects.
