Kuehne+Nagel is hiring a Customs Expert (Broker) in Australia. You will ensure compliance with Australian customs laws and import/export regulations while keeping cargo moving across the KN network.

You will classify goods for customs clearance, advise on FTAs and certificates of origin, and guide clients through licence requirements to streamline processes. This role supports high-risk shipments and audits with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Formación

• Licensed Customs Broker qualification is essential.
• Experience managing vendor performance, contracts and SLAs.
• Solid understanding of how logistics operations, products and services fit together, and how that drives better decisions.
• Track record of building and strengthening relationships with clients and internal and external stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Classify goods accurately for customs clearance and calculate duties, taxes and fees with precision.
• Advise customers on free trade agreements and verify certificates of origin.
• Guide key stakeholders through import/export licence requirements.
• Review customs entries, valuations and tariff classifications, and support audits and customs case investigations.
• Assess risk on high-risk shipments before they become problems.
• Streamline customs processes by working with our KN network, customers, third-party providers and industry agencies.
