Hitachi Construction Machinery (Australia) Pty Ltd is seeking a Customer Support Representative for our Revesby Branch. You will build strong customer relationships, provide proactive support, and help maximise equipment performance while identifying opportunities to grow parts and service sales across your territory.

You will conduct machine inspections, prepare quotes, promote maintenance programs, and support customers through deliveries and aftersales care.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, sales, account management or product support.
• Ability to build long-term customer relationships and manage a territory.
• Comfort with upselling parts and service opportunities.

The Opportunity

Due to continued growth, our Revesby Branch is seeking a motivated and customer-focused professional to join our team as a Customer Support Representative. In this role, you'll build strong customer relationships, provide proactive support, and help maximise equipment performance while identifying opportunities to grow parts and service sales across your territory.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Building and maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships


• Managing an assigned customer portfolio and call cycle across your territory


• Identifying opportunities to increase parts and service sales


• Conducting machine inspections and providing customers with equipment health recommendations


• Preparing and following up parts and service quotations


• Promoting service agreements, preventative maintenance and aftermarket support solutions


• Supporting customers through equipment deliveries and ongoing aftersales care


• Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure outstanding customer service


• Maintaining accurate customer records and opportunities within CRM systems

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Previous experience in customer service, sales, account management or product support


• A mechanical aptitude and an interest in construction/earthmoving machinery


• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills


• The ability to work autonomously while managing a structured territory and customer base


• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills


• A commitment to delivering exceptional customer outcomes


• A current driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory
