Job summary

Hertz is hiring a Customer Service Representative based at our Newcastle Store in NSW. You will greet customers, process rentals and returns, and promote Hertz options while ensuring a smooth experience. You may travel to other NSW stores within reasonable distance to support operations.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, previous customer service or sales experience, and a valid AU driver’s licence. Flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or sales is preferred.
• Experience in rental industry is preferred.
• A full and current AU driver’s licence is required.

About the Role?

As a Customer Service Representative,you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales services to internal and external customers to ensure the continued growth and profitability of Hertz. You will be based at our Newcastle Store and you may be required to work at other NSW stores within reasonable travel distance. In this role you will;

Ensure a positive customer experience by greeting and engaging customers

Complete rental and return transactions efficiently and accurately

Sell Hertz rental options to our valued customers

Ensure overall customer satisfaction by resolving issues

Be involved in reservations of rental vehicles and associated requirements

Work as part of a high performing team

About You?

To be successful in this position, our newest team member will have the following:

Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and ability to engage in verbal interaction with customers

Previous experience in customer service or sales; experience in rental industry preferred

Flexibility of working hours (7-day shift work including weekends & public holidays may apply)

A full and current AU driver’s licence with the ability to drive automatic vehicles
