Job summary

UniLodge in Melbourne is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to support resident experiences with a mix of quiet and busy periods. You will be the welcoming point for residents, helping with enquiries and fostering a safe, healthy living environment.

With a background in hospitality or reception, you will rely on your strong communication and organisational skills to assist with residency matters, coordinate administrative duties, and contribute to a positive community.

Qualifications

• Background in reception or hospitality is desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good computer skills and able to multitask.

• Assist with a range of enquiries related to student residency, studies, general needs, and wellbeing.
• Monitor and report safety and wellbeing concerns and escalate as needed.

The Role - Customer Service Coordinator:

There are lots of qualities that we look for in our team, but above all we need people who are resilient, hands on and genuinely enjoy delivering good customer service. We have fun at work but at times we can be run off our feet, welcoming or saying goodbye to our residents. A background in reception or hospitality will provide you with a good grounding for this role. Some of your essential skills will include strong written and verbal communication, good computer skills, organisational skills and a “we care” attitude.

At UniLodge we provide a home away from home for our residents and we aim to hire staff who will champion fostering a safe, secure and healthy living environment for our student residents. You may feel you do not meet all the criteria, but if you are eager to learn the UniLodge way, we still want to hear from you. This may be the first step to a new and exciting career path.

Some of the responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Creating a friendly environment and delivering a positive resident experience.


• Assist with a range of enquiries related to student residency, studies, general needs, and overall wellbeing.


• Taking the initiative to monitor and report concerns and/or issues relating to resident safety and wellbeing and escalating as needed.


• Coordinating and execute administrative duties (including incoming and outgoing mail, filing, etc.).

Our mandatory requirements include:

• Eligibility to work in Australia


• National Police Check (completed within last 3 months)


• Working with Children’s Check
