Job summary

Ice Box Liquor in Scone is hiring a Casual Service Assistant to deliver outstanding customer service while supporting day-to-day store operations. You will engage with customers, assist with product recommendations, and help maintain merchandised displays.

Ideal candidates have a passion for wine, spirits and beer, a current RSA, and are available for evenings and weekends as part of a casual role within our growing NSW store network.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or liquor industry experience is highly desirable.
• A passion for customer service and liquor products.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• A current RSA certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and product recommendations.
• Process sales through the POS system.
• Maintain store presentation and merchandising standards.
• Receive, unpack and replenish stock.
• Assist with promotional displays and ticketing.
• Ensure RSA compliance.

We are an established privately-owned chain of 30 liquor stores (and growing) located throughout New South Wales. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Casual Service Assistant to join our team at our Scone Stores.

As a Casual Service Assistant, you will play a key role in providing outstanding service to our customers while assisting with day-to-day store operations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing exceptional customer service and product recommendations.
• Processing sales through the POS system.
• Maintaining store presentation and merchandising standards.
• Receiving, unpacking and replenishing stock.
• Assisting with promotional displays and ticketing.
• Ensuring compliance with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) requirements.
• Supporting store security and loss prevention initiatives.
