Job summary

BOQ Group in Gladstone is seeking a Customer Relationship Specialist to welcome customers, understand their financial goals, and match them with banking solutions. You will work closely with the Branch Manager and a supportive team to deliver exceptional service and build lasting relationships.

The role includes handling loan maintenance tasks, identifying referral opportunities to Home Lending and Business Banking, coaching junior staff, and promoting digital banking tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Comfort with selling banking products and referring to specialists.
• Able to build rapport and understand customers' financial goals.
• Attention to detail and ability to navigate financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers to uncover their current and future financial goals and match them with BOQ solutions.
• Handle loan maintenance tasks such as top-ups, pricing adjustments and variations.
• Identify referral opportunities to Home Lending and Business Banking teams.
• Maintain regular contact with customers, manage leads, and book appointments.
• Coach Customer Service Officers on quality conversations and service excellence.
