Job summary

Talent International, based in Parramatta, NSW, is seeking a Client Service Officer (Customer Foundation) to provide customers with a positive onboarding experience, listen to their stories, assess financial circumstances and make timely wellbeing-centered decisions. You will manage initial contact, identify needs and develop practical action plans and budgets.

Some customers may stay with the Foundation Team for up to six months depending on complexity, with ASAP start on a 5-week contract and

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, case management, community services, financial administration or a similar environment.
• Strong communication, listening and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to discuss sensitive personal and financial circumstances with empathy.
• Sound judgement and confidence in making timely decisions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial customer conversations and understand their personal circumstances.
• Assess customers' financial situations, daily living needs and immediate priorities.
• Build positive and professional relationships with customers.
• Complete timely assessments and identify the complexity of each case.
• Develop practical action plans and customer budgets.
• Make immediate decisions that support customer safety and wellbeing.
• Triage complex matters and refer them to the appropriate team or service.
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
• Manage multiple customer matters while meeting service standards and deadlines.
