The Salvation Army Lara Salvos Store in Lara, VIC is seeking a values-driven Sales Assistant to support the Store Manager and deliver an inspiring in-store experience for customers and the community.

This permanent, part-time role (20 hours per week) focuses on retail sales, donation processing, merchandising, and delivering exceptional service in a friendly, values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales is valued but not essential.
• Strong customer service skills and a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Operate point-of-sale devices and process sales.
• Sort and price donations in-store, assist with merchandising.
• Support store presentation and visual merchandising to attract customers.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and follow safety policies.
• Display stock by department and follow store procedures.
