Job summary

NAPA Auto Parts is seeking a Customer Development Manager to drive sales and gross margin within a defined territory. You will partner with branch managers to build strong customer relationships, solve problems, and deliver on sales budgets.

About the role:

Customer Development Managers (CDMs) report to a Channel Manager, and work closely alongside NAPA Branch Managers to build successful business relationships with target customers within their territory. With a sales focus, they work to proactively find solutions to customer problems and are responsible for the sales and gross margin performance of their territory.

Duties include:

• Solve customer problems through consultation, relationship building, and understanding customer needs
• Responsibility for sales and gross margin performance of your territory
• Attend and participate in sales meetings, trade shows and training sessions
• Achieve sales budgets
• Developing new business (business development and account management)
• Foster and drive a culture of safety by putting safety first, ensuring that we all make it safe & make it home
• Safe driving behaviours

Note, this role will require lifting, bending, climbing & safe driving.
