dnata catering & retail is seeking a casual Customer Delivery Driver at Canberra Airport. You will be the face of our airside team, loading aircraft catering onto trolleys, guiding hi‑lift trucks onto aircraft and coordinating with cabin crew to ensure accurate handover.

Role requires MR/HR license, ability to perform manual handling, and flexibility for a 7‑day rotating roster. Casual hours vary with flight schedules; join a team committed to safety and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Must hold an MR or HR driver's license.
• Able to perform frequent manual handling tasks.
• Able to work around flight schedules, including variable hours.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Neat and tidy presentation.
• A clear National Police Check is required.
• Flexible to work a 7-day rotating roster.
• Available to work on a casual basis with hours varying.

Responsabilités

This is a hands‑on role that helps keep the Australian aviation industry moving.

So, what does a day in the life of a Customer Delivery Driver look like?

As a member of our airside team, you are the face of dnata catering & retail out on the tarmac and are responsible for the very important task of correctly loading catering onto the aircraft. To do this, you need to load fully stocked aircraft trolleys onto our hi‑lift trucks and drive a short distance to the aircraft.

Once airside, you will guide the vehicle for safe approach, load the carts onto the aircraft, and work with the airline cabin crew to make sure everything is correct. You will also remove any empty carts, before heading back to our catering facility.

In a nutshell, your main responsibilities are:

• Short distance driving and basic vehicle checks, including re‑fueling.
• Load and unload trucks and aircraft with catering, carts, and ovens, ensuring any discrepancies are followed up on.
• Guide and position the trucks in line with company, airport, and airline policies.
• Communicate and coordinate with airline cabin crew for aircraft servicing and delivery hand over.
• Administrative documentation, reporting and general cleaning duties as required.

• MR or HR driver’s license required.

• As you will be working in the Aviation Services industry, you will be required to obtain a clear National Police Check
• Flexibility to work a 7‑day rotating roster
• Availability to work on a casual basis, with hours varying depending on operational needs.
