Job summary

Hunter CPAP in Warners Bay is seeking a confident, friendly, and highly organised Customer Care Associate to join our small team on a permanent part-time basis. You will move between administration, customer service, ethical sales and day-to-day operations, becoming the first point of contact for customers while helping keep the business running smoothly.

Your days will be varied, including processing orders, providing friendly support, managing emails, updating records and coordinating

Qualifications

• Previous experience in administration, reception, sales and customer service.
• Excellent verbal communication and confidence speaking with customers.
• Organised, proactive and detail-oriented with a can-do attitude.
• Willingness to learn CPAP products and systems.

Customer Care Associate – Permanent Part-Time

Hunter CPAP | Warners Bay

Join a small team where customer service, organisation and getting things done really matter.

Hunter CPAP is looking for aconfident, friendly and highly organised Customer Care Associateto join our team in Warners Bay.

This is a varied, hands-on role combiningadministration, customer service, ethical sales and day-to-day business operations. You will be an important first point of contact for our customers while also helping keep the administrative and operational side of the business organised and running smoothly.

This role would suit someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, is comfortable talking with customers, has strong attention to detail and can confidently manage multiple competing priorities.

You don't need to be a CPAP expert when you start — but you do need to be someone who wants to become one. We are looking for a person who takes initiative, learns our products and systems proactively, and doesn't wait to be told what needs to be done.

About the Role

Your days will be varied. You'll move between administration, customer service, sales and practical tasks, ensuring customers receive a great experience and the business runs smoothly.

Key responsibilities include:

CPAP and sleep therapy device sales and support

Processing customer orders, sales and payments

Providing confidential, friendly and professional customer service in person and over the phone

Managing emails, general administration and data entry tasks

Maintaining accurate customer records, documentation and administrative systems

Coordinating customer warranty, repair processing, couriers and deliveries

Assisting with stock management, inventory and ordering

Cleaning and preparing CPAP and other clinical equipment, following infection control guidelines

Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming environment including merchandising and restocking

General business administration and day-to-day coordination of operations

Supporting the team wherever needed

About You

We're looking for someone who isorganised, capable, proactive and genuinely enjoys dealing with people.

You will ideally have:

Previous experience in administration, reception, sales and customer service

Excellent verbal communication and confidence speaking with customers

A friendly, professional and approachable manner

Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail

The ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities without losing track of important details

Confidence learning new products, systems and processes

A proactive attitude — you see what needs doing and get on with it

The ability to follow tasks through and take ownership of customer enquiries and allocated tasks

A willingness to learn and become an expert in our products

Reliability and a strong work ethic

A willingness to assist with cleaning and maintaining clinical equipment and the cleanliness and presentation of the store

Experience in healthcare, medical devices or CPAP is advantageous, butstrong customer service, reception, administration and a caring attitude is more important.

What We're Looking For

This role will suit someone who can confidently walk into a room, greet a customer, understand what they need and take ownership of helping them.

You'll need to be comfortable switching between tasks and staying organised when things get busy.

For example, you may be helping a customer with a mask fitting, answering the phone, processing a sale, updating customer records, organising a warranty return, arranging a courier and preparing equipment for the next customer — all within the same hour.

There will also be times when you will need toclean and prepare clinical equipment and attend to the cleanliness and presentation of the store. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work environment and understands that an organised and professional environment is critical to the effective operation of the business.
