Job summary

CMC Markets NZ Ltd in Sydney is seeking a Custodial Operations Executive for a 6-month maximum-term contract. You will support international settlements, custody holdings and corporate actions to ensure accurate processing of client transactions.

Reporting to the Custodial Operations Manager, you will handle international equity transactions, reconciliations and risk controls while collaborating with internal teams and external partners. Stockbroking experience is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Previous stockbroking experience, equity processing & post-trade operations.
• Knowledge of international share trading & settlement processes.
• Understanding ASX rules, CHESS workflows & compliance requirements.
• Experience with GBST Shares, international custody arrangements or corporate actions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process international equity transactions and custody holdings.
• Perform reconciliations and support corporate actions to ensure timely outcomes for clients.
• Identify operational risks and work with stakeholders to improve processes.
• Assist in daily operations of international settlements and custody functions.

We're looking for a detail-oriented Custodial Operations Executive to join our Post Trade Operations team on a 6-month maximum-term contract.

You’ll bring your stockbroking experience to support international equity settlements, custody operations and corporate actions, helping ensure our clients' transactions are processed accurately and efficiently. What You’ll Be Working On

Reporting to the Custodial Operations Manager, you’ll support the daily operations of our international settlements and custody function. You’ll be responsible for processing international equity transactions, managing custody holdings, completing reconciliations and supporting corporate actions to ensure accurate and timely outcomes for our clients.

Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you’ll also help identify operational risks, resolve queries and contribute to process improvements that support the smooth running of our stockbroking operations.

• Previous stockbroking experience, particularly in equity processing and post-trade operations
• Knowledge of international share trading and settlement processes
• A sound understanding of ASX rules, CHESS workflows and compliance requirements
• Experience with GBST Shares, international custody arrangements or corporate actions will be highly regarded
