Job summary

The University of Sydney is seeking a Teaching and Curriculum Coordinator at Camperdown Campus to support teaching and curriculum operations in the School of Economics. The role coordinates activities, assists with the in-semester test program, and liaises with academic staff to ensure smooth program delivery.

Hybrid work with minimum three days on campus per week, rising to five during peak periods. Base salary $107,312–$115,686 p.a. plus 17% superannuation applies.

Qualifications

• Exceptional communication and deep knowledge of University systems supporting curriculum and teaching administration.
• Initiative and problem-solving ability with a forward-thinking mindset to improve processes.
• Strong planning and organisational skills with a track record of designing administrative processes.
• Technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel and adaptability to new systems and tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate teaching activities, including the in-semester test program, to ensure smooth delivery.
• Support curriculum processes by liaising with academic staff and communicating curriculum initiatives.
• Engage internal and external stakeholders to align with strategic priorities.
• Maintain accurate records and systems to support compliance, reporting and improvement.
• Support and train staff on University systems, policies and procedures.
• Drive education strategy implementation and identify opportunities for process enhancements.
