Job summary

Lumus Imaging is seeking a CT & MRI Radiographer to work across our Brookvale, Chatswood and Frenchs Forest sites. You’ll perform CT examinations to high clinical standards and MRI scans with strict safety adherence, ensuring patient comfort and dignity throughout every scan.

You’ll collaborate with radiologists and referrers to deliver timely results and support the introduction of new scanners. The role requires a Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Radiation Science) with current AHPRA

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Medical Radiation Science with AHPRA registration.
• CT experience; basic MRI skills preferred.
• Cannulation competency.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborative team player with willingness to grow across modalities.

Responsibilities

• Performing a wide range of CT examinations to a high clinical standard.
• Performing MRI examinations with MRI safety protocol adherence.
• Ensuring patient comfort, safety and dignity during scans.
• Working closely with radiologists, referrers and fellow radiographers to deliver timely results.
• Maintaining equipment and upholding radiation safety and quality standards.
• Contributing to a smooth transition as new scanners are introduced.

About the role

As a CT & MRI Radiographer across sites at Lumus Imaging Brookvale, Chatswood and Frenchs Forest, you'll deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging across both modalities in a supportive community clinic. Your week will include:

• Performing a wide range of CT examinations to a high clinical standard
• Performing MRI examinations, including thorough patient screening and strict adherence to MRI safety protocols
• Ensuring patient comfort, safety and dignity throughout every scan, including anxious and unwell patients
• Working closely with radiologists, referrers and fellow radiographers to deliver accurate, timely results
• Maintaining equipment and adhering to radiation safety and quality standards
• Contributing to a smooth transition as new scanners are introduced

About you

• Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Radiation Science) or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration
• Experience in CT and basic MRI skills preferable.
• Cannulation competency.
• A patient-first approach, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
