Job summary

At Lumus Imaging Liverpool, we seek an MRI Radiographer to deliver high‑quality imaging in a busy setting. You will perform a broad range of MRI scans, ensure patient safety and comfort, and collaborate with radiologists to provide accurate results.

The role requires a Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Radiation Science) with AHPRA registration and at least 2 years MRI experience, plus flexibility to rotate across 7am–9pm shifts within our national network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level qualification in Medical Radiation Science with current AHPRA registration.
• Minimum 2 years MRI experience.
• Rotating roster availability 7am–9pm.
• Cannulation competency is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Performing a broad range of MRI examinations to a high clinical standard.
• Screening patients and maintaining MRI safety protocols.
• Ensuring patient comfort, safety and dignity during scans.
• Working closely with radiologists and referrers to deliver timely results.
• Maintaining equipment and adhering to quality and safety standards.
• Supporting a positive, collaborative team environment across the department.

About the role

As an MRI Radiographer at Lumus Imaging Liverpool, you'll deliver high-quality MRI imaging in a busy, supportive environment. Your day will include:

• Performing a broad range of MRI examinations to a high clinical standard
• Screening patients thoroughly and maintaining strict MRI safety protocols
• Ensuring patient comfort, safety and dignity throughout every scan, including anxious and unwell patients
• Working closely with radiologists and referrers to deliver accurate, timely results
• Maintaining equipment and adhering to quality and safety standards
• Supporting a positive, collaborative team environment across the department

About you

• Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Radiation Science) or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration or equivalent eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience
• Availability to work a rotating roster of shifts between 7am and 9pm
• Cannulation competency is highly regarded
• A patient-first approach, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A collaborative team player who thrives in a busy clinical setting
