Nano Vacuum is seeking a hands-on Field Service Engineer to install, commission and maintain dilution refrigerators and a broad range of vacuum equipment across Australia and New Zealand. Based at Castle Hill, you will visit universities, research labs and industry sites, delivering on-site and remote support.
You'll handle installations, cooldowns, preventive maintenance, fault-finding and repairs, while engaging with sales and applications teams.
Qualifications
- Degree in engineering or physics or a related technical field.
- Hands-on experience with cryogenic or high-vacuum systems.
- Willingness to travel interstate and internationally for site work and training.
- Clear communication and reliable workmanship.
Responsabilités
- Install, commission and hand over dilution refrigerator systems and related cryogenics.
- Carry out scheduled maintenance, fault-finding and remote or on-site support.
- Service vacuum products: pumps, leak testing, system troubleshooting.
- Train customers and produce clear service reports for researchers.
- Manage spares, tooling and liaise with manufacturers on technical issues.
