Job summary

HiQ, an Australian environmental and infrastructure company, seeks a skilled technician to perform diagnostics and repairs on earthmoving machinery, crushers, screens and fixed plants. The role includes routine maintenance, on-site safety, and thorough documentation.

You will use your knowledge of hydraulics and mechanical systems to diagnose faults, carry out on-site service, and work with a safety-first mindset. A company vehicle and mobile phone are provided.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of heavy duty earthmoving equipment and hydraulics.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical/electrical/hydraulic faults.
• Strong service background with proven experience.
• Competent in routine maintenance and servicing tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out on-site and off-site diagnosis and repairs for earthmoving machinery and fixed plants.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately.

Job Description

The successful applicant will be required to perform repairs and diagnosticson a range of earthmoving machinery, crushers, screens and fixed plants along with regular routine maintenance in order to achieve optimum production without compromising safety. e.g.

• Carrying out on and offsite diagnosis, repairs, routine inspection andservicingofequipment and machinery
• Completing all required paperwork accurately and effectively
• Apply risk management strategies when completing tasks in the work environment.
