Job summary

RAC Travel in West Perth is seeking a customer‑focused Travel Consultant to design personalised itineraries and manage cruise bookings across major cruise lines. You will use Sabre to handle complex bookings and coordinate flights, accommodation, tours and RAC add‑ons for our valued members.

Join a full‑time team on a 7‑day rotating roster, including evenings and weekends, with competitive incentives and opportunities for ongoing training and career development within RAC.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail travel sales with a track record of meeting sales targets.
• Knowledge of cruise products and destinations; enthusiasm to specialise in cruising.
• Strong destination and product knowledge with a client‑focussed approach.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills; able to network with members.

Responsibilities

• Design personalised itineraries and multi‑stop journeys for RAC members.
• Plan and manage cruise bookings across major global cruise lines.
• Provide expert destination and product advice to members.
• Use Sabre or similar GDS to manage bookings accurately.
• Coordinate flights, accommodation, tours, and RAC add‑ons.
• Convert enquiries into bookings while delivering premium member service.
• Build lasting relationships through outstanding customer care.
