Job summary

Intercruises (TUI) Australia is seeking a Business Development Specialist to grow our cruise business and create unforgettable shore experiences for guests. Based in Sydney, Perth, or Adelaide, you’ll focus on business development, supplier relationships, and tailored proposals rather than direct sales.

You’ll evaluate opportunities, negotiate rates, coordinate RFPs, source new tour products, and manage end-to-end contracting while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional

Qualifications

• Experience in travel industry, preferably with cruise exposure.
• Strong commercial mindset and proven negotiation skills.
• Proactive in sourcing new products and experiences.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop the Australian cruise business for assigned clients and manage supplier relationships.
• Prepare financial and content proposals according to client specifications and deadlines, achieving competitive rates and margins.
• Communicate with cruise line clients on RFPs and Ad Hoc Quotations, and acquire new cruise business through RFP participation.
• Source and identify new tour products and experiences aligned with brand and guest expectations.
• Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with tour operators and suppliers.
• Manage end-to-end supplier contracting and rate negotiations with all required documents.
• Conduct site inspections and familiarisation trips when required.
