Job summary

Burger Urge is looking for an energetic Crew Member to join our Greenhills team. You will greet customers, take orders, and help prepare burgers in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Ideal candidates bring strong interpersonal skills and a customer‑first mindset, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends and school holidays. RSA and Food Safety certificates are required or in progress.

Qualifications

• Must have Food Safety Certificate.
• Valid working rights, including passport and visa documentation for international candidates.
• RSA Certificate to be obtained within 30 days of starting.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take orders in a friendly, timely manner.
• Prepare food according to Burger Urge standards, including cooking, grilling and assembling items.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen, dining area and restrooms.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment (grills, fryers, ovens).
• Handle cash and card transactions with accurate sales records.
• Communicate effectively with team to ensure orders are accurate and quick.
• Participate in training and stay updated with Burger Urge policies and menu items.

The Burger Urge crew member is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that all customers are satisfied with their dining experience. The crew member will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment, handling a variety of tasks, including taking orders, preparing food, maintaining cleanliness, and managing inventory. The crew member will also need to work closely with other team members to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Crew Member Role
