Job summary

GENERAL AUSTRALIA is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to own a portfolio of commercial accounts across ANZ. You will assess credit risk, influence credit decisions, and support cash flow by managing overdue accounts and releasing credit holds.

You will work with Sales, Service, Finance and Administration to ensure accurate credit information and timely collections. AICM membership is desirable and Epicor experience is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Accounts receivable/credit control experience required
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Advanced computer skills and ERP/finance systems experience (Epicor preferred)
• Higher School Certificate or equivalent; AICM membership desirable

Responsibilities

• Managing portfolio of commercial credit accounts across ANZ
• Following up due/overdue accounts
• Investigating new credit applications and trade references
• Reviewing customer credit limits and identifying risks
• Releasing sales orders placed on credit hold
• Making credit decisions on overdue/over-limit accounts
• Preparing credit reports and maintaining account information
• Collaborating with Sales, Service, Finance and Administration across ANZ
