Queensland Country Bank in Townsville is seeking a dedicated Credit Analyst to join the Credit Department on a full-time 18-month contract, based at our Townsville Head Office. You will assist in the ongoing management of the credit portfolio and provide support to the branch network on credit matters.

The role requires strong consumer and small business lending knowledge, financial analysis skills, and a solid understanding of relevant legislation and prudential frameworks.

About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Credit Analyst to join the Credit Department on a full-time, 18‑month contract, based at our Townsville Head Office. As a Credit Analyst, you will assist in the ongoing management of the credit portfolio of Queensland Country Bank and provide assistance to the branch network in relation to all credit related matters.

This is a full time based on a 38-hour working week, with the successful applicant based out of Townsville.

About You

• Strong consumer and small business lending knowledge, business banking and commercial lending knowledge desirable
• Ability to understand and complete financial analysis
• Understanding of relevant legislation and prudential framework
• Professional verbal and written communication skills including the ability to negotiate, influence and prepare reports
• Exceptional organisational skills and a strong attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
