Job summary

TotalFusion Chermside is seeking a caring Creche Assistant for weekend shifts to support the daily care and development of children in a safe, engaging environment. You will supervise activities, assist with games, and communicate with parents and team members.

Ideal candidates have childcare experience, current First Aid/CPR, Working with Children Check, and a patient, energetic approach to working with children. Part-time weekend role with potential weekday shifts for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is preferred.
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
• Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Energetic, patient, and passionate about working with children.

The Role:

We are seeking a caring, energetic, and responsible Creche Assistant to join our team for weekend shifts. You will support the daily operation of our creche, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children, assisting with activities, and providing an engaging and nurturing environment.

Availability:

Saturdays between 6.30am-10.45am

Sundays between 7.45am - 11am

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and care for children in the creche
• Plan and assist with age-appropriate activities and games
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
