Job summary

PLC Armidale invites applications for a Visual Arts Teacher to join a collaborative faculty on a permanent basis, commencing Term 1, 2027. The position offers flexibility: part-time (0.5 FTE) or full-time, negotiable, and a chance to contribute to our girls' education tradition.

Ideal applicants hold a recognised teaching qualification, a Fine Arts/Visual Arts focus, and experience with the NSW NESA Visual Arts syllabus for Stages 4–6.

Qualifications

• Recognised teaching qualification, preferably with a Fine Arts or Visual Arts specialisation.
• Demonstrated understanding of the NESA syllabus for Visual Arts (Stages 4–6).
• Experience programming, teaching and assessing Visual Arts courses.
• Able to use technology to meet students' learning needs.
• Experience using school information systems and learning management systems such as Canvas.
