Job summary

Geelong Grammar School seeks an experienced Creative Education Collaborator (Secondary) to cultivate communication, collaboration, critical thinking, problem posing and problem solving among students and teachers. The role embeds Creative Education across disciplines to spark curiosity, inquiry and student agency, enabling learners to think, connect and enact by design.

The successful candidate will build and deliver programmes, integrate Creative Education capabilities across the curriculum,

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise that enhances student learning and pedagogy across Year 7–12.
• Well-developed research and analytical skills enabling development of innovative curricula and activities.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with staff and disciplines and foster collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Build, iterate and support Creative Education programmes and learning experiences across Secondary year levels and disciplines.
• Integrate Creative Education capabilities (communication, collaboration, critical thinking, problem solving, design thinking, student agency) across curriculum and co-curricular programmes.
• Support cross-campus connections, fostering curiosity, innovation, inquiry, agency and authentic learning.
• Assist Head of Creative Education with evaluation, monitoring and continuous improvement of programmes and interventions.
• Develop staff capability through professional learning, resources and training in Creative Education pedagogy.
• Promote engagement in Creative Education across the school community including students, staff, parents and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Adventure Education and Positive Education teams to deliver holistic experiences that include wellbeing and character development.
• Teach one class (0.21 FTE) and facilitate the Navigate programme as timetabled.
