Job summary

Great Beginnings Mill Park Centre, part of G8 Education Limited, is seeking a Cook to prepare nutritious meals for up to 112 children daily. The role is full-time, 38 hours per week, with above award wages and a 50% childcare discount.

You will manage menus, budgets and stock, ensure dietary safety, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen in line with Food Safety regulations. Join a supportive team within a growing network of centres.

Qualifications

• Experience in menu planning, budgeting, stock ordering & control.
• Experience with dietary and allergy-safe requirements.
• Ability to maintain a clean, safe kitchen in line with Food Safety regulations.
• Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Availability for set shifts Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high quality, nutritious meals for up to 112 children daily.
• Plan menus and manage budgets and stock to meet centre needs.
• Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards across all operations.
• Collaborate with centre team to deliver learning through food experiences.
