Job summary

BMF Advertising is seeking an Account Manager to join our Pyrmont team on a six month fixed-term contract. You’ll work closely with production, strategy and client stakeholders to deliver on briefs, manage budgets, and ensure on-time, on-brand delivery.

You’ll thrive in a fast-paced agency environment, bring strong communication and presentation skills, and demonstrate a track record in managing campaigns and client relationships. Flexible working options are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in advertising, communications or a creative agency is advantageous.
• Strong client relationships and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Proven ability to deliver great creative ideas.
• Solid understanding of marketing strategy and media plans.
• Clear, articulate communication with strong presentation skills.
• Attention to detail and drive for excellence.
• Ability to prepare presentation documents; PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the production team to ensure best-practice execution.
• Inspire the strategic development process.
• Have a considered/informed opinion throughout the marketing process.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and how they may benefit BMF or your clients.
• Know the various expertise across the group and engage them when needed.
• Have a broad understanding of all communications channels.
• Taking an active role in new business pitches as required.
• Build and nurture relationships with client stakeholders.
• Ensure we deliver brilliant basics at all times – Contact Reports / WIP’s / budgets, / Agenda / Updates etc.
• Responsible for day-to-day financial management of your clients.
• Ensure projects are estimated correctly and delivered within budget.
• Ownership of the JCR process ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Weekly management of head hours – ensuring projects are profitable on completion.
• Timesheets completed accurately and timely.
• Act as quality controller for all work created.
• Creation and maintenance of all project documentation.
• Ensure that BMF and our clients are not exposed to any legal issue within a campaign.
