Qualifications

• Experience supervising cranes and lifting operations.
• South-East Queensland crane hire or construction experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of cranes and lifting operations.
• Proficiency with LICCON and Microsoft Office.
• Current High Risk Work Licences RI and CO.
• HR Driver Licence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safety-first approach across lifting operations.
• Conduct client site and job inspections.
• Plan lifts and develop practical lifting solutions.
• Supervise major lifts and on-site projects.
• Prepare and manage lift documentation.
• Conduct pre-start and toolbox meetings.
• Provide safety observations and feedback to crane crews.
• Identify and manage site hazards and risks.
• Assist with client pricing and job planning.
• Provide technical guidance to crane operators and riggers.

Key responsibilities

Maintaining a strong safety-first approach across all lifting operations

Conducting client site and job inspections

Planning lifts and developing practical lifting solutions

Supervising major lifts and project work on site

Preparing and managing lift documentation

Conducting pre-start and toolbox meetings

Undertaking safety observations and providing constructive feedback to crane crews

Identifying and managing site hazards and operational risks

Assisting with client pricing and job planning

Providing technical guidance to crane operators and riggers

About you

Current or recent experience in crane supervision, preferably within South-East Queensland

Experience within the crane hire and/or construction industry

Strong technical knowledge of cranes and lifting operations

Experience with Microsoft Office and LICCON

AutoCAD experience is highly regarded

Current relevant High Risk Work Licences, including RI and CO

Current HR Driver Licence

Excellent communication and client relationship skills

Strong planning and organisational skills

A professional, trustworthy and proactive attitude
