The Federal Court of Australia in Sydney seeks a Judicial and Registry Services Team Leader to oversee high-quality case management, court room and chambers support for judicial officers, registrars and court users.

You will lead client services teams, coordinate courts’ operations, produce management reports and drive continuous improvement while complying with public service standards and diversity commitments.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated staff management, change management, leadership experience.
• Strong relationship management and communication with judiciary and professionals.
• Organisational and problem-solving skills; ability to work under pressure.
• Understanding of public service operating environment and governance.

Responsabilités

• Lead and/or support teams of client services staff and associates to ensure high-quality support to clients and judiciary.
• Coordinate courts’ operations including scheduling of events and providing reports on case management indicators.
• Provide statistical reports to management on trends and issues in local service provision.
• Manage change in a challenging and fast-moving environment.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with judiciary, legal professionals and community groups.
• Ensure policies and standards of the courts are promoted and maintained.
