Job summary

Kiama Community College seeks a Course Manager to lead Community Services and Health training programs across the South Coast region, building workforce capability and community wellbeing. You will manage accredited training delivery, support trainers and students, ensure ASQA compliance and engage with industry to align programs with workforce needs.

Based in Batemans Bay or Mundamia with regular travel, the role offers a supportive, not-for-profit environment prioritising quality and learner

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or equivalent.
• Demonstrated vocational education and industry expertise in Community Services/Health.
• Proven ability to manage and coordinate VET programs in Community Services/Health.
• Current Working With Children Check and National Criminal History Check.
• C Class Driver’s Licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop a team of trainers and assessors.
• Manage high-quality and compliant training across the Community Services and Health portfolio.
• Achieve and maintain compliance with ASQA standards and regulator requirements.
• Ensure trainer/assessor vocational competency and industry currency.
• Build partnerships with employers, community organisations and industry stakeholders.
• Monitor learner engagement, retention, completion and outcomes.
• Drive quality and continuous improvement in training and assessment.
• Identify opportunities to enhance program delivery and workforce outcomes.
