Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree and 8–10 years of relevant experience or 12–14 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with development and construction of major infrastructure projects.
• Airport project experience is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present cost data to management.

Responsibilities

• Performs generally non-routine cost estimating, analysis, and control activities.
• Coordinates the implementation of cost monitoring and control standards, techniques, systems, and reports.
• Coordinates the development and accuracy of cost reports.
• Verifies consistency with previous reports to ensure compatibility and consistency.
• Prepares specific budgets in accordance with prescribed standards and procedures.
• Investigates the requirements for estimating and/or cost control data.
• Collects and classifies cost data.
• Performs budget allocation and reporting/cost control regime for specific construction discipline or group of disciplines.
• Identifies cost trends for management attention.
• Prepares cost studies using historical data, statistical analysis, and cost and quantity comparisons
